TERMS & CONDITIONS

Article 1 (Purpose)

① The purpose of these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") for HIGHST Urology Clinic is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and HIGHST Urology Clinic in relation to the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by HIGHST Urology Clinic.

② When a person wishing to become a member completes the prescribed procedures established by HIGHST Urology Clinic and clicks the "Register" button, they shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms. Matters concerning the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and HIGHST Urology Clinic not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws of the Republic of Korea, as well as customary commercial practices.

Article 2 (Definition of Member)

A "Member" refers to a person who accesses HIGHST Urology Clinic, registers as an online member in accordance with these Terms, and receives the Services provided by HIGHST Urology Clinic.

Article 3 (Membership Registration)

① A person wishing to become a member shall apply for membership by entering member information in the registration form prescribed by HIGHST Urology Clinic and clicking the "Register" button.

② HIGHST Urology Clinic shall register the applicant as a member unless the applicant falls under any of the following categories:

1. Cases where the applicant has previously lost membership status under Article 6, Paragraph 3 of these Terms; however, exceptions may be made for those who have obtained approval for re-registration from HIGHST Urology Clinic after three years have passed since the loss of membership status.

2. Cases where the registration contains false information, omissions, or errors.

3. Cases where HIGHST Urology Clinic determines that registering the applicant as a member would cause significant technical difficulties.

③ The membership agreement shall be deemed established at the time HIGHST Urology Clinic's approval reaches the applicant.

④ If any changes occur to the member information provided under Paragraph 1, the member must promptly update and correct such information.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)

① HIGHST Urology Clinic provides the following services to members:

1. HIGHST Urology Clinic newsletter email service

2. HIGHST Urology Clinic online consultation and reservation service

3. Sections and content services for HIGHST Urology Clinic online members

4. Various services provided by HIGHST Urology Clinic in partnership with other companies

② HIGHST Urology Clinic may modify the Services specified in Paragraph 1 after notifying members of the details and effective date of such changes through the methods prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2.

Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

① HIGHST Urology Clinic may temporarily suspend the provision of Services due to maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication facilities such as computers, or disruption of communications, and may completely discontinue currently provided Services for reasons such as replacement with new services or other reasons deemed appropriate by HIGHST Urology Clinic.

② In the case of service suspension under Paragraph 1, HIGHST Urology Clinic shall notify members through the methods prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2. However, this shall not apply in cases where prior notice is impossible due to service suspension caused by reasons beyond the control of HIGHST Urology Clinic (such as disk failures or system outages not attributable to the intention or negligence of system administrators).

Article 6 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Status)

① A member may request the cancellation of their membership registration (membership withdrawal) at any time, and HIGHST Urology Clinic shall promptly process the cancellation upon receiving the request.

② In cases where a member falls under any of the following reasons, HIGHST Urology Clinic may restrict, suspend, or revoke the member's membership status through appropriate means:

1. Cases where false information was registered at the time of application.

2. Cases where the member interferes with another person's use of the HIGHST Urology Clinic website or misappropriates their information, thereby threatening the order of electronic commerce.

3. Cases where the member engages in acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals, using HIGHST Urology Clinic.

③ When HIGHST Urology Clinic decides to revoke a member's membership status, it shall cancel the membership registration. In such cases, HIGHST Urology Clinic shall notify the member prior to cancellation and provide an opportunity to respond.

Article 7 (Notification to Members)

① When HIGHST Urology Clinic provides notification to a specific member, it may do so via the email address registered with HIGHST Urology Clinic.

② When HIGHST Urology Clinic provides notification to an unspecified number of members, it may substitute individual notification by posting on the HIGHST Urology Clinic bulletin board for at least one week.

Article 8 (Protection of Members' Personal Information)

HIGHST Urology Clinic endeavors to protect the personal information of members, including registration information, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The protection of members' personal information shall be governed by applicable laws and the "Privacy Policy" established by HIGHST Urology Clinic.

Article 9 (Obligations of HIGHST Urology Clinic)

① HIGHST Urology Clinic shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and shall endeavor to provide Services continuously and reliably in accordance with these Terms.

② HIGHST Urology Clinic shall establish security systems to protect members' personal information (including credit information) so that members can use internet services safely.

③ HIGHST Urology Clinic shall not send commercial advertising emails that members do not wish to receive.

Article 10 (Members' Obligations Regarding ID and Password)

① Except in cases where HIGHST Urology Clinic bears responsibility under applicable laws and the "Privacy Policy," each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.

② Members shall not allow third parties to use their ID and password.

③ If a member becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify HIGHST Urology Clinic and follow any instructions provided.

Article 11 (Members' Obligations)

① Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:

1. Registering false information when applying for or modifying membership.

2. Altering information posted on HIGHST Urology Clinic.

3. Infringing on the personal rights or intellectual property rights of HIGHST Urology Clinic or other third parties, or interfering with their business operations.

4. Misappropriating another member's ID.

5. Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, emails soliciting participation in pyramid schemes, or messages containing obscene or violent content, or publicly disclosing or posting other information contrary to public order and morals.

6. Transmitting or posting information (including computer programs) whose transmission or posting is prohibited by applicable laws.

7. Posting messages or sending emails while impersonating an employee or administrator of HIGHST Urology Clinic, or using another person's name.

8. Posting or sending materials containing software viruses or other computer codes, files, or programs designed to interfere with or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.

9. Engaging in stalking or other acts that harass other members.

10. Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information of other members without their consent.

11. Using the Services for commercial purposes, such as posting advertisements targeting an unspecified number of persons or sending spam mail.

12. Violating these Terms or other regulations regarding the use of Services provided by HIGHST Urology Clinic.

② If a member engages in any act described in Paragraph 1, HIGHST Urology Clinic may restrict, suspend, or revoke the member's membership status through appropriate means as prescribed in Article 6, Paragraphs 2 and 3.

③ Members shall be liable for any damages incurred by HIGHST Urology Clinic or other members due to causes attributable to the member.

Article 12 (Deletion of Public Posts)

If the content of a member's public post falls under any of the following categories, HIGHST Urology Clinic may delete the relevant post without prior notice and may restrict, suspend, or revoke the member's membership status:

1. Content that defames or slanders another member or third party, thereby damaging their reputation.

2. Content that disseminates information, text, graphics, etc. that violate public order and morals.

3. Content deemed to be related to criminal activity.

4. Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of another member or third party.

5. Cases where the content is clearly for advertising or commercial purposes.

6. Content otherwise deemed to violate applicable laws and regulations.

Article 13 (Ownership of Copyright and Restrictions on Use)

① Copyright and other intellectual property rights to works created by HIGHST Urology Clinic shall belong to HIGHST Urology Clinic.

② Members shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use for commercial purposes, or allow third parties to use, any information obtained through the use of HIGHST Urology Clinic without prior consent.

Article 14 (Regulations Regarding Consultations)

① The content of consultations conducted through the Services may be used for the following purposes after removing personal identification information:

1) Academic activities

2) Medical treatment activities

3) Medical services

4) Publications, CD-ROMs, and other authoring activities

5) As part of service content such as FAQs and recommended consultations

② HIGHST Urology Clinic may not provide all or part of the consultation service in the following cases:

1) Cases where the same consultation is repeatedly submitted.

2) Cases where the consultation is submitted using inappropriate or vulgar language.

3) Cases where the consultation requests a diagnosis.

4) Cases where the consultation inquires about treatment costs, examination fees, medication prices, or the effects of medications.

5) Cases where the consultation is made for the purpose of obtaining information to harm others.

Article 15 (Amendment of Terms)

① HIGHST Urology Clinic may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendments do not violate applicable laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

② When HIGHST Urology Clinic amends these Terms, it shall post the effective date and reasons for the amendment on the main page together with the current Terms from seven days before the effective date until the day before the effective date.

③ When HIGHST Urology Clinic amends these Terms, the amended Terms shall also apply to members who registered before the amendment, provided that the amended content does not violate applicable laws.

④ Members who object to the amended Terms may withdraw their membership in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)

Any lawsuit arising from disputes related to the use of Services between HIGHST Urology Clinic and a member shall be filed with a court of the Republic of Korea having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms shall be effective from January 3, 2017 and shall remain in effect until new terms are established.
